Our Infra team keeps laptops, software, accounts and workplaces running, and supports colleagues with technical questions and issues.

During this internship you gain practical experience within a professional IT environment and learn how IT support works inside a fast-growing organisation.

What will you do?

As an intern IT Support & Workplace Management you support the Infra team with day-to-day IT questions. You help prepare laptops, resolve hardware and software issues and assist colleagues with technical questions.

You work closely with colleagues across the office and are regularly in contact with suppliers such as Lenovo, Microsoft and Amac when equipment needs to be ordered, replaced or repaired.

You gradually take on more responsibility and learn how a professional IT department makes sure people can do their work without technical obstacles.

Your responsibilities

• Delivering, installing and configuring laptops and accessories
• Supporting colleagues with IT questions and technical issues
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware problems on laptops and workplaces
• Installing and managing software
• Setting up user accounts and access rights
• Supporting the onboarding of new colleagues
• Collecting and processing equipment when colleagues leave
• Registering and tracking company assets such as laptops, monitors and peripherals
• Contributing ideas to improve workplace management and IT processes
• Supporting the management of our Microsoft 365 environment

The team

You become part of the Finaps Infra team. This is a small, practical team responsible for all internal IT facilities. Together you make sure colleagues can work without technical obstacles.

You join the weekly team meetings where ongoing work is discussed and tasks are divided.

Is this you?

• HBO or university student in ICT, Computer Science, System & Network Engineering or a comparable field
• Affinity with laptops, hardware and workplaces
• Interest in Microsoft 365 and modern IT environments
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A service-minded attitude
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Practical, eager to learn, responsible, proactive and helpful

Experience with IT support, workplace management or hardware is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. Motivation and eagerness to learn matter more to us.
