Jouw rol

How will you help power the Netherlands? Your technical scope includes primary HV equipment such as power transformers, shunt reactors, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), HV cable systems and associated primary HV components.

In addition, you are responsible for:

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance – Providing technical expertise for maintenance activities, assessing findings and defects, and determining appropriate technical follow-up.
  • System troubleshooting and fault resolution – Acting as subject matter expert during technical failures and supporting troubleshooting, root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Asset condition and performance – Reviewing inspection results, condition monitoring data, equipment performance and degradation trends and translating these into maintenance or improvement actions.
  • Managing improvement projects – Leading or supporting technical improvement projects and warranty processes with OEMs and key vendors.
  • Technical contractor and OEM management – Providing technical direction to specialist contractors and OEMs and reviewing technical recommendations, maintenance proposals and reports.
  • Contract and budget management – Supporting and overseeing service contracts, tenders and technical scopes and ensuring appropriate contract performance.

You will join the Operating Engineers team within the Offshore Division, led by Willem Nugteren, and collaborate with asset managers, project leads, commissioning engineers, maintenance teams, OEMs and contractors. The team plays a vital role in safeguarding the availability, safety and maintainability of offshore assets. We value teamwork, proactiveness and cross-disciplinary cooperation in a dynamic offshore environment.
