FP&A Manager Europe & Global Sales Finance

Job Description

The FP&A Manager Europe owns the integrated financial view of the region. The role leads regional budgeting, forecasting and performance management. It translates financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations. It partners with the Finance Director Europe, Europe Leadership Team and Cluster Finance Directors to support strategic decisions. The role also drives standardisation, automation and stronger FP&A capabilities across Europe.

• Own the regional budget, forecast, risks and opportunities, scenario-modelling and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment between strategic ambitions, operational plans and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate the monthly regional performance review, delivering concise management reporting and decision support that explain performance against plan and prior periods and translate insights into clear actions.
• Maintain an integrated view of regional performance, analysing revenue, volume, price, mix, margins, operating costs, SG&A, cash flow and working capital to identify underlying drivers, emerging trends, risks and opportunities.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to the Finance Director Europe, Europe Leadership Team and Cluster Finance Directors, constructively challenging assumptions and supporting resource-allocation decisions, business cases, trade-offs and strategic projects.
• Collaborate across Accounting, Commercial Finance, Operations, Treasury, Tax and other relevant functions to connect financial and operational perspectives, ensure high-quality inputs and support effective execution across the region.
• Lead the regional FP&A agenda by standardising and simplifying processes, strengthening data quality, governance and financial controls, accelerating automation and digitalisation, and developing FP&A capabilities across the European finance community.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline; a recognised professional finance qualification or relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• Significant progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering within a large, complex and preferably multinational organisation, with exposure to regional or multi-country environments.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with demonstrated ability to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes, build scenarios and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
• Proven ability to lead cross-market planning and performance-management processes, influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across countries, cultures and functions without relying on formal authority.
• Advanced financial-modelling and analytical capabilities, combined with experience improving planning, reporting and data-visualisation processes through modern finance systems and digital tools; fluency in English is required.
