Head of People & Culture

You will be the driving force behind the people function at Channable, at a moment when we're scaling fast and want our culture to scale right alongside us. As Head of People & Culture, you’ll be reporting directly to our CEO, Rob van Nuenen, and sit on the management team. You'll lead our P&C team: Talent Acquisition, HR, Employee Experience, and People Operations, with team leads reporting to you directly.

You'll also be a close partner to the management team on topics such as company strategy, strategic workforce planning, departmental performance, raising the bar on leadership quality across Channable, and people analytics.

Furthermore:

• You own the people strategy end-to-end and translate it into a people roadmap.
• You build a high-performance team across Channable while keeping the vibrant, informal spirit that makes Channable an awesome place to work.
• You further improve engagement and build out our learning and feedback culture.
• You make the people function more data-driven: better metrics to support better decision-making.
• You represent People & Culture at the management team level and act as a partner to the CEO and other leaders.
• You lead and develop the People & Culture team: Talent Acquisition (2), HR (4), Employee Experience (4), and People Operations (1), via team leads.

Channable was founded in 2014 in the heart of Utrecht and is a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform that offers a fully integrated way to market the products of online retailers (webshops). We empower marketers and online businesses to manage, scale, and optimize their digital marketing.

Who are you?

• You enjoy setting the people strategy, not just running what's already there.

• Pragmatic, hands-on, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves alongside your team if that's needed.

What you bring

• 5+ years in a People/HR leadership role, ideally with multiple years spent at an organization of 200+ employees.
• Recent experience working for a Netherlands-based company.
• Breadth across the full people function: talent acquisition, HR, employee experience, and people operations, rather than just one lane.
• A track record of building high-performing teams and cultures, not just maintaining them.
• Strong stakeholder management skills; you know how to partner with a management team, and challenge them when needed.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus given our Utrecht base.
• Bonus points for experience in a software company.

Practical requirements:

• You're available for at least 32 hours per week.
• You're based in the Netherlands and can work from the Utrecht office at least 2 days a week, ideally more, since we find that important for this role.
• You have a valid work permit or EU citizenship.

• Gross annual salary ranging from € 115k- € 130k including 8% holiday allowance and based on a 40-hour work week.
