“Not just a new ERP system, but the Business Platform on which Nedap will build what comes next.”
Product Owner - Business Platform
Accelerate is Nedap’s multi-year transformation program to replace Navision with a standardized Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform across its market groups. As Product Owner – Business Platform, you provide the long-term direction for the platform that will replace Navision with a standardized D365 F&O environment. You turn the ambitions of Accelerate — Nedap’s transformation program for this ERP transition — into a clear product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
The Business Platform is deliberately broader than the ERP system itself. It supports not only Finance and Operations, but also the continued development of processes, data, and collaboration. It enables better traceability, advanced planning capabilities such as MRP, and the adoption of AI and machine learning. The platform should not only support processes, but also help automate and improve them.
Accelerate is already well underway. As Product Owner Business Platform you help turn the program's momentum into a sustainable, product-oriented way of working and a stable operational Run. You own the full lifecycle of the Business Platform: from continuity of the current Navision environment to the further development and operation of D365 F&O. You provide direction for vision, roadmap, and priorities and work with the Business Platform Team to keep daily operations, continuity, and improvement well organized. You connect Run, Change, and Product: what is delivered through Accelerate must be scalable, manageable, and workable for the organization and become part of a platform that can continue to evolve.
- Groenlo, Netherlands
- Hybrid working
- 32–38 hours per week
- The range for this role is between € 5.000 and € 7.000 gross per month based on full-time employment of 38 hours.
Your responsibilities
Shape product direction.
Translate the long-term ambition for the Business Platform into a clear vision, roadmap, and priorities, and keep Run, Change, and ongoing product development connected.
Connect processes and technology.
Work with Finance, Operations, Business Process Owners, domain stakeholders, key users, architects, other Product Owners, IT, and suppliers around choices that affect processes, data, and the Business Platform. Bring interests and dependencies together and make ownership clear.
Lead the Business Platform Team.
Give direction to a multidisciplinary team including Process Consultants, Application Engineers, and IT Support Engineers. Create focus, trust, and strong collaboration without taking over the team's specialist expertise. Together with the IT Manager, take responsibility for capacity, continuity, and the operational environment.
Make choices explicit.
Challenge established ways of working constructively, keep the platform as close as possible to the F&O standard, and help stakeholders move forward when interests or dependencies conflict. Make decision ownership clear and ensure choices are made at the right level.
Connect Run and Change.
Keep Navision reliable for as long as it is needed, keep the first F&O environment in Hong Kong stable and improving, and feed lessons from Run back into the further rollout through Accelerate. When a critical incident occurs, Run takes priority and you drive fast decision-making and escalation.
Your team
You will work within Nedap's IT General environment, alongside the Business Platform Team that is responsible for day-to-day continuity, operation, and further development of the ERP and Business Platform landscape. The team is multidisciplinary and includes Process Consultants, Application Engineers, and IT Support Engineers. You will also work closely with Business Process Owners, domain stakeholders, key users, architects, other Product Owners, and suppliers, as well as external partners supporting integrations and D365 F&O through HSO.
The specialist expertise is already there. Your contribution is to connect Run, Change, and Product: keep day-to-day continuity under control, ensure the team learns from the first live F&O environment in Hong Kong, and bring those lessons back into Accelerate. In this way, you help build a Business Platform that is scalable, adaptable, stays close to the F&O standard, and can continue to evolve beyond the current transition.
What's in it for you?
We have the ambition, and the opportunity to shape the future. And we need people with the drive to turn that into meaningful impact. You get the chance to contribute to something truly unique, alongside more than 1,000 driven and like-minded colleagues.

Required skills
You enjoy working where processes, data, technology, and people come together. You quickly see where coherence is missing and create direction without taking ownership away from the specialists around you. You can keep the longer-term ambition in view while also taking responsibility for daily operational continuity. You move comfortably between Run, Change, and Product, knowing when to decide yourself, when to leave a choice with the business, and when escalation is needed.
Your experience includes:
- A bachelor’s or master’s level of thinking and working;
- At least five years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Lead, Business Platform Lead, or in a comparable role within a complex ERP or business-process landscape;
- Experience with complex Finance and Operations processes and ERP transitions, including operating and improving a business-critical ERP environment; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a strong plus;
- Experience developing and communicating product vision, roadmaps, and clear priorities, and translating them into a workable operational Run model;
- Enough technical and architectural understanding to follow substantive discussions, challenge specialists constructively, recognize operational risks, and make well-founded choices.
Good to know: You are available for 38 hours per week. Hybrid working is common at Nedap, and you and your team can coordinate your working hours to achieve a good work-life balance. You will be present at our Campus in Groenlo at least 3 days a week. When critical operational issues occur, Run takes priority and you are expected to switch quickly and escalate when needed.
And beyond your experience, it is important to us that you identify with our culture and values and are eager to contribute to our purpose of creating Technology for Life.
