“Bring direction and momentum to an ERP transformation that prepares Nedap for its next stage of growth.”
As our Interim Project Manager – D365 F&O, you bring structure, seniority, and momentum to a complex change program in which process, data, technology, and multiple stakeholders come together. You are a senior sparring partner for experienced professionals and leadership: you help the team stay focused on the outcomes that matter, ensure that dependencies, risks, and unresolved choices receive the attention they need, and lead decision-making and escalation towards the Steering Committee.

What are you going to do?
Nedap is bringing supply chain and finance processes across its market groups together on one future-proof ERP platform. By phasing out legacy systems, we create clearer processes, more reliable data, and a stronger foundation for scale and future AI-enabled capabilities.
The direction and roadmap are in place. You do not need to redefine the content direction: we are replacing Navision with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and aim to stay as close to the standard as possible. Within those boundaries, you are expected to critically test the existing roadmap and assumptions and, where needed, propose an alternative course. You turn priorities into practical next steps, make progress visible, and manage for results.
Your responsibilities
Keep the roadmap moving
Translate the existing roadmap into a clear delivery rhythm, with practical priorities, milestones, and follow-up - while identifying when assumptions, sequencing, or planning need to be adjusted.
Lead decision-making and escalation
Ensure open choices and bottlenecks reach the right people, push through when needed, and lead these topics effectively towards the Steering Committee.
Create transparency
Make progress, dependencies, risks, bottlenecks, and trade-offs visible, and steer towards the agreed result.
Connect the right parties
Align Finance, Operations, key users, IT, Microsoft, integration partners, and external logistics and warehousing parties around shared progress.
Support practical improvement
Work with business owners to identify optimization opportunities and ensure that process choices and customization deliver customer value within the F&O standard.
Your team
You will work within Nedap's IT General environment, alongside experienced ERP professionals and colleagues from across the organization. The team has the ERP expertise it needs; your contribution is senior project leadership: creating clarity, focus, and follow-through, connecting people, and leading the team through a critical delivery phase with a human approach.
You will work closely with business owners, leadership, key users, Microsoft, integration partners, and external parties connected to Nedap's processes and systems. The CFO is the sponsor; the Steering Committee consists of the CEO, CFO, IT Manager, and ERP implementation partner. You have mandate for day-to-day delivery, team leadership, and organizing execution. Changes in course, planning and budget, and decisions on process changes or customization investments are brought to the Steering Committee. You have the freedom to shape your approach and are expected to escalate and push through when progress requires it.
What's in it for you?
This is an opportunity to lead a complex ERP transformation through its next phase and bring the direction already set through to a successful go-live. Success means more than putting Nedap NV fully operational on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations: processes transition smoothly, adoption is secured, and the project team reaches the finish line together with a strong, positive way of working.
- An hourly rate in line with the level of responsibility.
- A complex, international program in which your contribution is visible in progress, decision quality, organizational adoption, and the way the project team works together.
- We work based on trust, ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and space. You bring expertise, an independent perspective, and human leadership. You stand behind your team, take and give space when needed, celebrate successes, and make sure the organization is well guided through choices, pace, and change.
Required skills
You enjoy bringing order and momentum to complex programs and act as a senior sparring partner for business and IT. You understand the connection between business processes, data, and technology, without needing to be the technical or functional specialist yourself. You ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and know how to help people move from discussion to decision and execution. You manage for results, while also managing the pace the team and organization can sustain.
Your experience includes:
- Over 10 years of experience leading complex ERP implementations or transitions, preferably involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), in a role where you also led senior stakeholders and decision-making.
- Bringing an existing ERP roadmap or implementation program through a critical delivery phase, including identifying risks and proposing well-founded course changes when needed.
- Structuring planning, dependencies, risks, issues, and decision-making across multiple workstreams, with clear escalation to governance when decisions fall outside your mandate.
- Managing stakeholders in a complex environment involving business teams, IT, implementation partners, and external integration parties.
- Enough technical and architectural understanding to recognize risks and unnecessary customization, challenge constructively, and work with ERP specialists and partners to protect customer value within the F&O standard.
