Our group, distributed across Munich, DE and Rotterdam, NL, is responsible for driving innovation within Mendix, as we work on cutting-edge technologies crucial to develop an Agentic Enterprise Platform as part of our global R&D organization. You can find most of our components in the Mendix marketplace, they are showcased in this app.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX design across the full product development cycle, from concept to visual and interaction design
• Use concepts and prototypes to communicate design ideas and advocate for the best user experience
• Turn user insights into human-centered solutions through regular evaluation of product usability with customers and stakeholders
• Take full ownership of design from initial prototype to final implementation, proactively identifying and resolving challenges
• Engage directly with customers for validation and insights, skillfully translating those insights into user-friendly designs
• Stay ahead of industry trends, actively grow your skills, and share knowledge across teams and R&D units

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in design or proven equivalent experience in the field
• 2–5+ years of proven experience as a product designer
• Expert proficiency in Figma and demonstrated experience working with design systems
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Experience evaluating and validating product usability with customers to enhance products and processes
• Meet your colleagues several times per week in a modern office in Rotterdam

Preferred

• Knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI, and AI Agents
• Experience designing components for a design system
• Background in designing software development tools or sophisticated products
• Experience with agentic development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Figma Design Agent, or equivalent

Our Benefits & Rewards

The salary range for this position is 69,100 to 100,000. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers health and wellness benefits to employees.
