About the role: Senior Modern Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)

Join Redcare Pharmacy at an exciting stage of our Modern Workplace transformation, where you will play a key role in shaping the future employee experience for more than 2,500 users. As the first dedicated specialist in this area, you will have the opportunity to define the roadmap, modernize workplace technologies, and help build a growing Modern Workplace function from the ground up.

Working closely with the Associate Director IT Service, you will drive the transition from legacy workplace solutions to a modern, cloud-first environment while influencing how collaboration, device management, and end-user services evolve across the business.

About your tasks:

• Take ownership of the Modern Workplace roadmap, assessing the current environment and defining the next steps to accelerate Redcare’s workplace transformation.
• Lead the transition from SCCM to Microsoft Intune, helping to create modern device management standards, governance models, and an intuitive employee experience.
• Shape the future of endpoint management across both Windows and macOS environments, including software deployment, patch management, and device lifecycle strategies.
• Drive adoption and optimization of Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, enabling employees to work more effectively and securely.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives through PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API scripting while providing best-practice guidance to the wider IT Service team.

About you:

• You bring 5+ years of experience in a Modern Workplace, Endpoint Management, or Workplace Engineering role.
• You have strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune and have successfully implemented or managed modern endpoint environments.
• You understand both legacy and modern workplace technologies, including SCCM, cloud-based device management, and Microsoft 365 services.
• You enjoy building and improving services, share knowledge openly, and are motivated by the opportunity to influence a growing team and workplace strategy.
