About the Project Management Office (PMO) department

The scope of the PMO department consists of a couple dozen projects, mainly in the Transformation Office, HR or Finance space, with a total spend of several million. Our team is a mix of senior, medium and junior level Program, Transition and Project Managers as well as Project Supports. We all enjoy sharing our expertise and passion with others, and to bring in fresh talent and ideas, we would like to have interns in our team.

Intern Project Management Office

Key Objectives

  • Supporting 1 or 2 different global projects or transitions
  • Maintaining general administration activities of the PMO
  • Responsible for organizing recurring PMO project/transition sessions
  • Supporting a Project Manager

Key Accountabilities and activities

  • Contribute to the objective of the project through driving and monitoring progress
  • Create, perform and analyze project management overviews covering costs, quality and time
  • Assist with continuous improvement of current project/transition processes
  • Handle mailbox and queries
  • Organize companywide meetings on project management knowledge sharing
  • Support the task of chasing stakeholders to deliver input
  • Support with gathering KPIs from the project manager and transition managers
  • Support in the preparation of meetings, including booking meeting rooms, writing invitations, creating distribution lists, agendas, actions and minutes
  • Translate analysis and data into appealing presentations by developing storylines, agendas and slides
  • Be able to set the right message for stakeholders of all levels
  • Store and clean up documents in the digital library

Who can apply?

The internship is open to 3rd year Bachelor or Master students enrolled at a university who want to gain hands-on experience in an international environment. We expect you to be available 4 to 5 days a week to work on projects within our department, and being available 40 hours is a plus. A background in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or International Relations is preferred.
