(Senior) Manager Strategy & Transformation

What will you do?

As a Manager Strategy & Transformation, you contribute to the development and realization of the vision and mission of Valcon. You take responsibility for the quality of work and lead the structuring of projects. You analyse the current performance of clients and the environment in which they operate, and you develop strategic options on which you advise clients. You also support senior executives at client organizations with the required transformation. In doing so, you help clients improve business performance while preparing them for the future.

You are the right fit if you have strong analytical and conceptual abilities, can quickly grasp new settings, and can distil core from side issues. You also bring courage and perseverance and are able to connect with clients at all levels. The combination of being smart, curious and socially skilled is key to success.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Managing and guiding strategy consultants on projects and in their personal development.
• Analysing the performance of organizations and industry dynamics, developing strategic options aimed at improving business performance, advising senior client executives and guiding transformations at clients.
• Providing operational leadership to a project team.
• Managing stakeholders and maintaining a network at clients.
• Supporting the development of the Strategy & Transformation practice within Valcon.

Experience

• Pre-university education and an academic degree that has a numerical component.
• A minimum of 5 years work experience in a relevant role and responsibility for projects.
• Ability to quickly comprehend organizational performances and industry dynamics.
• Experience and a network within industries where Valcon is present (infrastructure & mobility, government, financial servies, industries and retail) is an advantage.
• Ability to listen, cooperate and maintain a dialogue.
• Commercial expertise; experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
• You’re fluent in Dutch and English.
