QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you'll do much more than traditional testing. You'll work closely with the development team and product owner to make sure every feature meets its functional specification and delivers real value to the people using it. Your coverage spans the whole product rather than a single layer: the APIs behind Salto KS, the mobile apps people use to open doors from their phone, the web app that site managers and installers work in every day, and the physical locks and controllers behind all of it. You'll be involved from the start of a task, not brought in at the end, so validating requirements, spotting risks early and keeping automated coverage worth trusting are all part of the job.

Your profile

• Experience with API and performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter, k6) and database testing
• Experience with mobile test automation, in any tool (e.g., Appium, Katalon, Maestro)
• Experience with front-end test automation in Cypress or Playwright
• Experience building automated tests and deploying them as part of a pipeline
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, BitBucket/Bamboo
• Experience with at least one programming language
• Proven track record in successfully conducting and creating QA tests in highly technical organizations, with hands-on experience with functional testing
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle in an Agile environment
• Comfortable testing software against physical hardware. This role sits close to our devices, so experience with IoT or embedded systems is an advantage
• Flexible in learning new tools and technologies according to the company's requirements
• Experience with bug tracking, test management, test execution, and defect reports through Test Management tools like TestRail, qTest, QAComplete
• Experience using AI tools in a QA or testing context is a plus
