As Studio Manager in Amsterdam, you will be the operational heart of the in-house Creative Studio, bringing clarity, structure, and smart planning from concept to delivery. You will work closely with the Head of Graphic Design and collaborate across Marketing, Interior Design, and Operations to keep priorities aligned and protect creative focus. This role offers the opportunity to shape the operating model and elevate how the studio functions as it grows.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

The Social Hub is expanding its ecosystem, and the Creative Studio needs an operational backbone to keep big ideas moving seamlessly from concept to delivery. Expect a culture that values collaboration, room to innovate, and colleagues who genuinely love what they do. If you know how to build scalable processes without slowing creative magic down, this role offers the space to make a real impact.

About The Social Hub

The Social Hub offers a hybrid hospitality environment where people can work, stay, learn, and play. As an employer, it combines hospitality with student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bars, eat & drink spaces, community areas, and coworking spaces. The company operates across The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with further expansion planned.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the intake, scheduling, and prioritization of creative requests across physical, digital, and experiential touchpoints.
  • Map out project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively remove roadblocks before they slow things down.
  • Coordinate workloads and capacity planning so designers can focus on making outstanding work.
  • Build and optimize slick workflows, tools, and project management processes that scale.
  • Act as the primary operational connector between the design team and brand, marketing, or operations partners.
  • Keep briefs sharp, clear, and ready before any design work kicks off.
  • Track studio performance and find smart opportunities to continuously polish how the team works.

What You’ll Have

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in studio management, traffic management, or creative operations within an agency or in-house team.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design Management, Creative Business, or Project Management. A PM certification is a bonus.
  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms like Asana, Monday.com, or Jira.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple creative projects at once while staying calm under pressure.
  • Full proficiency in English. Dutch skills are a welcome bonus.
  • A talent for balancing operational efficiency with creative flexibility.
  • Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, retail, or consumer brands is a plus, but not required.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company.
  • The opportunity to work for a Certified B Corp® company that balances profit with positive impact.
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth.
  • Discounts in all properties in Europe for you, your friends, and your family.
  • A workplace full of events, fun colleagues, and benefits.

The Social Hub is much more than a hotel. In our boundary-blurring spaces we bring together a new generation of bold change-makers to connect, learn, stay, work, and play. Creating memorable experiences for our community of hotel guests, students, creatives, enterprising minds and anyone in between.
