Introductie

At TenneT, we are working on an energy supply that keeps the Netherlands moving. As Contract Manager Transport & Installation (T&I), you make a direct impact on the future of our electricity grid. Together with your colleagues, you manage complex T&I contracts, helping us provide reliable energy for the years to come.

Jouw rol

How will you keep the Netherlands powered? As Contract Manager Transport & Installation, you are responsible for professionally managing and optimising framework contracts with T&I contractors, so that projects can achieve their objectives and TenneT maximises the value of its contracts. You will be part of the team Program Agreements within the division Project Delivery Offshore and TenneT’s 2GW offshore projects.

In this role you:

  • Proactively manage the contractual obligations, risks and objectives of the contracts.
  • Drive the resolution of complex contractual issues, align stakeholders on strategic priorities, and ensure timely decisions that safeguard project objectives and business value.
  • Identify and lead strategic technical and commercial optimization initiatives that enhance contract performance, reduce risk, and maximize value across multiple projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to project leadership, providing expert guidance on contractual strategy, risk management, and commercial decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with contractors and key subcontractors, influencing outcomes and fostering collaboration to achieve long-term program objectives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations, insights, and executive-level reporting to support informed decision-making by senior management.
  • Shape and influence the contract strategy for future offshore projects by leveraging market intelligence, lessons learned, and long-term business objectives.
  • Strengthen contractual awareness and capability across the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Project Delivery, Procurement, Category Management, Legal, and international stakeholders to align business objectives and enable effective contract execution.

You will join the Program Agreements team of eight, working closely with an experienced T&I Specialist to share expertise, strengthen knowledge and collaboration, and further develop T&I contract management within the team.

When dealing with complex contractual and commercial matters, you provide independent judgement and help stakeholders reach effective solutions.
