As an Instructional Designer, you help colleagues and partners build the product knowledge they need to be successful with Exact's software solutions. You design impactful learning experiences that enable people to perform their jobs effectively while continuously exploring new ways of learning, working, and leveraging technology. At Exact, you can think and act proactively and see your good ideas come true.

This = the job you're looking for

As an Instructional Designer, you'll design and continuously improve learning experiences that help our colleagues and partners understand and work effectively with Exact software. Our products evolve rapidly, so you'll focus on creating learning solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and effective. You'll collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and translate them into practical solutions that drive business performance. And that's not all. We can rely on you as an Instructional Designer to:

  • Design and develop product learning resources for multiple learner groups, including Customer Support, Sales, Technology, and partner organizations.
  • Identify learner needs through research, stakeholder interviews, and performance analysis.
  • Create sustainable learning solutions that can evolve alongside our software products.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Measure and continuously optimise learning impact, always focusing on performance over content production.

This = your team

You will join the 8 colleagues focused on L&D, within the broader Product Learning & Enablement team. Our team consists of six Instructional Designers and three Learning & Development specialists who are passionate about helping people grow and succeed.

The Product Learning & Enablement team is known for its curiosity, adaptability, and collaborative culture. This becomes visible in the way we continuously experiment with new learning approaches, embrace emerging technologies such as AI, and quickly adapt our solutions to changing business and product needs. The main responsibilities of the department are:

  • Delivering product learning solutions for employees and partners.
  • Strengthening product knowledge across the organization.
  • Enabling business performance through effective learning and knowledge sharing.

We operate in short development cycles, value experimentation over perfection, and encourage everyone to bring new ideas to the table. If you enjoy learning, testing, improving, and growing together with your colleagues, you'll feel right at home.

This = what your future colleague says

“What I love about working here is the freedom and space to learn. You get room to explore, learn as you go, and shape your own approach to solving problems. For someone working in learning, that is a big part of what makes the job so enjoyable. You also create solutions directly for the people around you, so you quickly find out what works and what could work better. The cherry on top is working with an enthusiastic and diverse group of colleagues who are always happy to think along.” – Dijana Muzhdeka, Instructional Designer.

This = what you bring

With us, you can be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of Instructional Designer, it's helpful if you have a strong growth mindset and preferably a solution-oriented approach. What's more, you bring:

  • Knowledge of, and experience applying, the latest L&D developments.
  • Strong collaborative and communicative skills.
  • Ability to use learner feedback, data, and performance metrics to evaluate and improve learning solutions with a focus on impact and business outcomes.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and a willingness to experiment with AI and new learning tools.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities, products, and learning needs evolve continuously.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and sufficient Dutch reading comprehension to work with Dutch-language product- and business-information.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience designing learning resources or learning experiences.

This = what you get

  • An employment contract for a year.
  • A holiday allowance of 8%.
  • A thirteenth-month bonus.
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses and a working-from-home allowance.
