You are responsible for:

  • Create clear presentations, communication materials and decision-support materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Support change management activities that help stakeholders understand, adopt and apply EcoDesign in practice.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on product sustainability topics, such as energy efficiency, materials, packaging, circularity, substances and life cycle impact.
  • Translate sustainability insights into practical tools, guidance and recommendations for product teams.
  • Support knowledge management by maintaining and improving EcoDesign documentation, training materials and internal knowledge bases.
  • Contribute to reporting, internal updates and management presentations on the progress and impact of EcoDesign activities.

You’re the right fit, if:

  • Studying towards a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Design, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Innovation Management, etc.
  • Strong affinity with sustainability, product development and the role of EcoDesign in reducing environmental impact.
  • Structured, proactive and independent working attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with different stakeholders across Philips.
  • Analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Interest in facilitation, workshops and change management.
  • Ability to translate complex sustainability topics into clear and practical materials.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and collaboration tools such as Miro or Teams.
  • Experience with AI tools, workflow automation or data visualization is a plus.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

We offer you:

  • A non-stop growth opportunity within a global multinational company.
  • Housing compensation for eligible interns who need to relocate near the office.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.

Philips is a leading health technology company focused on improving people’s lives across the health continuum – from healthy living and prevention, to diagnosis, treatment and home care. Applying advanced technologies and deep clinical and consumer insights, Philips delivers integrated solutions that address the Quadruple Aim: improved patient experience, better health outcomes, improved staff experience, and lower cost of care.
