What will you do?

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines using GCP tooling such as BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub
• Enable real-time data streaming, message-driven architectures, and scalable processing solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—data scientists, analysts, consultants—to deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code, Agile, and CI/CD practices to manage deployment and operations
• Use Python and SQL to develop secure, high-performance systems built for reliability and scale
• Advocate best practices in architecture, security, and data governance
• Help clients evolve into truly data-driven organizations through insights and automation

Experience

• We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. If you have completed a technical WO or HBO education and demonstrate a WO level of thinking and working, we would love to hear from you.
• Ideally, you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and are skilled in collaborating with teams, communicating effectively, and showing strong analytical and leadership abilities.
• Your expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core data services, such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage, will be highly valued. Holding GCP certifications, like Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect, is a significant plus.
• Additionally, familiarity with SQL, Python, data pipelines, API access, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, data architecture, data storytelling, and Infrastructure-as-Code will give you an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, with WO-level thinking and working mentality
• Familiarity with agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and IaC workflows
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to work across technical and business audiences
• Fluent in English (Dutch is beneficial)
