What will you do as a Senior IT Project Management Consultant at IMPROVEN?

In the role of Senior IT Project Management Consultant, the focus is on achieving impactful digital transformation at clients. Complex IT implementations are not only designed, but actually implemented into working solutions that are supported within the organisation. This creates structure where lacking, clarity where needed and pace where possible.

The field is characterised by intensive stakeholder management: from product owners and architects to management and board. Within these dynamics, we act as sparring partner, advisor and critical challenger, someone who asks questions, thinks along with you, adjusts and gives direction at crucial moments.

Some of your duties

• Leading IT projects and programmes from initiative phase to handover and assurance.
• Setting up governance structures (RACI, decision-making rhythm, risk steering) that ensure pace and quality.
• Translating objectives into roadmaps, deliverables and clear acceptance criteria.
• Choosing and applying the right delivery approach (agile, hybrid or more structured) appropriate to context and maturity.
• Directing stakeholders in business, IT and governance; visibly connect and professionally manage escalations.
• Transparent reporting on progress, risks and dependencies (portfolio level where necessary).
• Ensuring that change lands: organise communication, guidance and adoption structurally.
• Actively contribute to the further development of our Digital Services propositions.

• Governance, project control and stakeholder management are core components of your skill set.
• You are familiar with methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, PRINCE2, IPMA or PMP.
• You communicate clearly, convincingly and purposefully towards management, teams and external stakeholders.
• You translate strategic goals into realistic roadmaps, measurable results and clear accountability.
• You know how to motivate teams, create support and bring people along, even when interests differ or change creates resistance.
