Our business unit Demcon Industrial Systems (DIS) develops and delivers a wide range of projects for the complex machinery and equipment market. These projects range from partial developments and proof-of-principle setups to complete machines and fully integrated system solutions for industrial customers.

What are you going to do?

As an Electrical Engineer, you are the specialist in control hardware and electromechanical systems within our mechatronic projects. Together with your team, you are responsible for the concept development, design, and detailed engineering of the system. You create and maintain electrical designs in EPLAN, support proof-of-principle setups and prototypes where needed, and are responsible for the electrical bill of materials (BOM). During the realization phase, you take a hands-on role in supporting assembly activities and act as a point of contact for external suppliers when required. In addition, you are involved in the testing, commissioning, and verification of the system to ensure it meets all functional and performance requirements.

What do you bring to the table?

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a machine-building environment;
• Broad knowledge of and interest in electrical engineering;
• Experience with EPLAN;
• Knowledge of Beckhoff control hardware is considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of machine safety, motion control, drives, and/or robot control systems is considered an advantage.
