At Coty HQ in Amsterdam, the People Analytics & Total Rewards Intern supports global initiatives across People Analytics and Total Rewards. This role offers hands-on exposure to data-driven HR decision making, reward agenda and analytics, and HR systems.
You will work closely with the Global HRIS / People Analytics and Total Rewards teams, contributing to key projects, analytics, research and process improvements.
Your responsibilities would be summarized around the following pillars:
People Analytics & HR Data
- Maintain and enhance recurring HR dashboards and reports (e.g. headcount, attrition, organizational metrics)
- Support ad hoc analysis to inform workforce decisions and leadership discussions
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, standardization, and automation
- Support data governance and data accuracy initiatives within HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors)
- Contribute to the evolution of reporting solutions and self-service analytics
Total Rewards
- Support the broader Total Rewards agenda, including pay transparency, reward analytics, recognition and benefits programs through data preparation and analysis
- Assist with reward analytics, including pay gap analysis, salary and benefits benchmarking, program usage and engagement levels and ad hoc reward reporting
- Support the design, communication and tracking of our recognition program
- Conduct research on regulatory requirements, reward trends and market best practices (e.g. EU Pay Transparency Directive, CSRD, etc.)
- Prepare materials, presentations and documentation to support ongoing reward, recognition and benefits initiatives
- Help maintaining the Total Rewards Communication Hub – keeping access, content and toolkits across the Total Reward portfolio up to date, well-structured and easy to navigate for the intended audience
Process Improvement & HRIS Exposure
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and reporting workflows
- Explore opportunities to leverage automation and AI to enhance data processing and reporting
- Contribute to improving system usage and data structures within HR platforms
- Support documentation of processes and reporting logic
Other
- If and where appropriate, the intern could be asked to support other HRBP tasks, including those that benefit their understanding of the HR role and/or are part of their internship assignment.
Requirements
- Strong interest in HR data, analytics and total rewards
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program (e.g. Business, HR, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance)
- Comfortable working with data, Excel, Microsoft and analytical tools; experience with Power BI or similar a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to translate data into insights
- Comfortable conducting structured research and synthesizing findings into clear summaries
- Proactive, structured and able to work independently
- Interest in HR systems, reward tooling and digital solutions is a plus
- Fluent in English
Period
This internship is full-time, for a duration of 6 months. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
