Senior Process Technologist (all genders)

Are you passionate about Process Technology and do you want to play a key role in further optimizing our butter and dairy processes? The Global Supply Chain Technology team is looking for an experienced Sr Process Technologist who can help bring our dairy factories to the next level.

What we ask

• An academic degree in (Food) Process Technology, Chemical Engineering or a related field;
• Relevant experience in a food, chemical or engineering company (10+ years);
• Good knowledge of butter processes and understanding of dairy production processes;
• Experience in process licensing in capex projects, including technology selection and implementation;
• Structured problem solving and process optimization (6-sigma green or black belt is a pre);
• Good project and stakeholder management skills and experience working in dynamic and multicultural project environments;
• Proven collaboration with internal and external partners for technological advancements;
• The following key competences: analytical, fact-based, independent, solution-oriented, well-organized, critical.

Vacancy description

In this role, you are expected to be able to realize the following in your area of expertise:

• Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality in our butter factories;
• Process licensing of capex projects;
• Translate and scale up innovations to the production environment;
• Lead root-cause analysis of complex problems within the factories;
• Translate knowledge into technology standards and actively check for validation in our factories;
• Work closely together with other departments such as R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, and Marketing to ensure that technology initiatives are properly integrated into the overall business strategy;
• Ensure that all your work complies with relevant regulations and standards, such as those related to food safety, quality, and labelling;
• Provide training and support to employees in your field of expertise, systems and tools to ensure that they are effectively integrated into the business.

In this position, you will be working in the cluster Membrane Processing & Purification of the Global Supply Chain Technology team. The cluster consists of 9 experts and is part of the total SC team of 60 technologists. You will work in a highly multidisciplinary environment with teams such as R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and other experts.
