The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) is seeking cybersecurity experts to strengthen its Cybersecurity team in Luxembourg. As the judicial authority of the Union, it works in close collaboration with national jurisdictions of the Member States to ensure the consistent interpretation and application of the EU Treaties and law. As an employer, the CJEU strives for excellence and values multilingualism, inclusiveness, diversity, and collaboration.

Who will be your team?

The Cybersecurity team of the Court of Justice (CJEU) is reporting to the Director of IT. The mission of the team is to protect the Court's assets against cybersecurity threats and to ensure end-to-end data security and protection. The team is divided into the sections Operations, Risk-Compliance and Solutions.

What will your contribution be?

We are looking for cybersecurity experts in all three sections to strengthen our Cybersecurity team. You will drive secure architecture implementation, ensure risk and compliance management, and/or contribute to operational cyber-defence:

  • Implement, configure and operate technical cybersecurity controls (access management, logging, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, etc.) in line with the Cybersecurity Regulation.
  • Monitor systems and networks, detect anomalies and respond to incidents, supporting containment, eradication and recovery of services.
  • Identify, assess and remediate vulnerabilities, develop secure configuration baselines and monitor patch-management activities.
  • Support internal risk-management, governance and compliance, ensuring alignment with the Court’s Cybersecurity policies and the Cybersecurity regulation.
  • Collaborate with the IT teams to align security measures with the overall security architecture, integrate requirements into projects and continuously improve controls.
