Job description

About the role

We’re an Insurtech company that helps insurers and fleets handle car repairs more efficiently through our SaaS platform. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for people who want to help improve and scale a product across multiple markets.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership over the (back-end domain) core platform functionalities
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by our front-end team
  • Be a technical sparring partner for other stakeholders in the development process
  • Design and build workflow handling solutions and technical enhancements to the platform
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement process

Your team

  • You’ll join a team of 6 developers
  • We work closely together, move fast, and take ownership of what we build

Job requirements

What you bring

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in backend development (a relevant degree is a plus)
  • Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python (interest in Mendix is a plus)
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript (e.g. React), and CSS
  • Solid understanding of modern web development principles and architecture
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, with a curious and proactive mindset
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
  • Results-oriented, with a pragmatic and solution-driven approach
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Based in Amsterdam metropolitan area
