Housekeeping Management Intern - September 2026

Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is a historic and vibrant hotel, located opposite Amsterdam Central Station. Combining classic architecture with contemporary style, the hotel offers a dynamic environment where service excellence and attention to detail shape every guest experience.

As a Housekeeping Management Intern, you play a key role in supporting the Housekeeping team and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort across the hotel. You contribute to daily operations while developing leadership and organisational skills within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

This internship starts in September 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience for 5 to 12 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervision of daily housekeeping operations and team activities
• Assist in coordinating room cleaning schedules and public area maintenance
• Ensure cleanliness, quality, and brand standards are consistently maintained
• Support training and coaching of team members to achieve service excellence
• Assist with administrative tasks such as planning, reporting, and quality checks
• Monitor room status updates and communicate effectively with the Front Office
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team engagement
• Support stock control and inventory management for housekeeping supplies

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality guest experiences
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Available for a full-time internship for 5 to 12 months
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience or strong interest in housekeeping operations or hospitality
• Leadership potential and willingness to take initiative
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
• Dutch or any additional language is an advantage

We provide a monthly allowance of €750, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of travel and job-related expenses.
