Internship opportunity at art’otel Amsterdam

As our Food and Beverage Management Intern, you gain insight and experience in the execution of managerial duties while working closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team.

This internship starts in September 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience for a minimum of 5 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Food and Beverage leadership team in daily operations across all outlets
  • Lead by example on the floor, ensuring engaging and high-quality guest experiences
  • Assist in coordinating restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event operations
  • Support activations and events within ARCA Restaurant and Bar and the art’otel gallery
  • Drive commercial performance by supporting upselling and promotional activities
  • Monitor service quality and ensure brand standards are consistently delivered
  • Support team communication, shift organisation, and operational flow
  • Assist with training and coaching team members
  • Engage with guests, creating memorable and personalised experiences
  • Take ownership of projects that enhance performance and guest satisfaction

Essential Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
  • Passion for food, drinks, and guest experience
  • Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic and creative environment
  • Availability for an internship of at least 5 months
  • Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience or strong interest in Food and Beverage or hospitality
  • Interest in leadership and commercial performance
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and a structured way of working
  • Dutch or any additional language is an advantage

We provide a monthly allowance of €750, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of travel and job-related expenses.
