Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer

We're looking for a highly motivated Analytics Engineer who will work closely with Product and Insurance departments.

What you'll be up to

• Define and calculate KPIs for product and feature launches to track the trajectory toward 10x simplicity.
• Identify opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations that influence the roadmap.
• Answer analytical questions and analyse A/B tests to ensure the right conclusions are drawn from every experiment.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards using Databricks and QuickSight for real-time metrics monitoring.
• Contribute to the data transformation code base using dbt and Git to support a modern data infrastructure.
• Own outcomes within your scope, from problem definition to delivery.
• Operate in ambiguity and make decisions without perfect information.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions to bridge the gap between "the floor" and "the lab."
• Improve data workflows by spotting inefficiencies and proposing better ways of working.
• Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving environment.

This role is a strong fit if you

• Have excellent SQL skills and can calculate metrics in a readable and efficient way.
• Are proficient with dashboarding and code tools, with experience using tools like Databricks, QuickSight, and Git.
• Have a strong grasp of statistics and A/B testing to draw meaningful conclusions.
• Have a growth mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and seeking feedback.
• Take ownership naturally and thrive in the "grey area."
• Can turn messy problems into clear, actionable plans and are highly organised and process-focused.
