At Karl Lagerfeld, this internship supports the Digital Marketing and E-commerce departments by coordinating CRM activities. The role works closely with the Team Lead Digital Design & UX, E-commerce Marketing Manager, and CRM Specialist, contributing to the planning and execution of CRM initiatives and using data to enhance customer engagement across digital platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in CRM within a dynamic fashion e-commerce and digital marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support weekly reporting on channel performance by compiling key metrics and highlighting trends and insights for optimization.
  • Analyze data from Google Analytics and the CRM platform to extract insights that enhance customer retention, conversion strategies, and identify new opportunities.
  • Support the development and implementation of CRM campaigns.
  • Build newsletter templates in Klaviyo and develop new ones with engaging content.
  • Support the creation of briefings for the creative team and copywriters.
  • Support trade reporting and prepare weekly presentations.
  • Monitor the database, including clean-up and analysis.
  • Contribute to customer segmentation strategies by analyzing data and identifying distinct customer groups.
  • Collaborate with the CRM Specialist and marketing teams to tailor communications for various customer segments.
  • Coordinate copy briefings with an external translation agency.
  • Prepare, compile, and format presentations and reports.
  • Create benchmarks and best practices.
  • Provide administrative support for office-related tasks.

Skills, Education & Experience

  • Experience and proficiency in MS Office software suites and preferably also in Google Analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of and interest in digital marketing and data analysis.
  • Experience with premium brands or the luxury sector is preferable but not required.
  • Previous marketing or e-commerce internship preferred, ideally in CRM.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of an additional language served on KARL.com is an advantage.

Internship Requirements

  • Available to start ASAP.
  • Available for 6+ months.
  • Must be enrolled for the full duration of the internship at a school or university.
  • Due to Dutch legislation, must have European nationality or study in the Netherlands.
