Head of Documentation and Enablement

Bij Wolters Kluwer zoeken we een vooruitstrevende en hands-on leider om het Documentation and Enablement-team aan te sturen.

Dit team speelt een cruciale rol in het ondersteunen van deploymentteams, professional services, implementatiepartners, beheerders en eindgebruikers bij het succesvol uitrollen, installeren, configureren, beheren en gebruiken van enterprise softwareoplossingen.

Als Head of Documentation and Enablement geef je leiding aan een multidisciplinair team van technical writers, instructional designers en video editors. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het definiëren en uitvoeren van een samenhangende enablementstrategie, zodat stakeholders toegang hebben tot hoogwaardige, accurate en aansprekende content in verschillende formats en kanalen.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall strategy and roadmap for documentation and enablement.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team of writers, instructional designers, and video creators.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of all documentation and enablement content, ensuring accuracy, consistency and ease of use.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Partners to ensure content aligns with releases and stakeholder needs.
• Develop scalable enablement programs that support internal teams, partners, and customers throughout deployment and adoption.
• Establish and track metrics that measure effectiveness and continuously refine content based on analytics, feedback, and product changes.
• Implement and evolve documentation standards, templates, governance, and tooling, including responsible adoption of AI to enhance productivity and quality.
• Continuously innovate enablement methods by staying current with industry trends, instructional design best practices, and emerging content technologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience leading documentation or enablement teams in a B2B enterprise software environment.
• Strong understanding of technical writing, instructional design, and multimedia content creation.
• Familiarity with modern documentation platforms, LMS systems, and video editing tools.
• Awareness of how AI and automation can support content development and learning experiences.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Native-level fluency in English, French is a plus.
