About the role
This is a chance to shape how OpenUp delivers mental well-being support at scale, leading and developing the community of psychologists and coaches behind our service, while spending meaningful time with the customers who experience it.
You'll combine clinical insight with operational ownership, using data to improve how our experts work and how our users experience care. You'll work closely with the Head of Experts and the broader expert leadership team. The role reports to the Chief People Officer.
It's a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and building something that matters, at the intersection of clinical quality, technology, and commercial impact.
What you will do
Customer-facing delivery
Contribute directly to OpenUp's activation strategy and NRR progression by spending time with our customers: hosting on-site sessions, leading client conversations, and representing our service in the moments that shape how customers experience and renew with us. Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to shape new services and bring AI-based solutions into how we deliver care.
Quality and clinical development
Act as the first line of quality assurance for our service. Use quality data to identify what's working and where we can improve. Host weekly intervisions, design deep-dive sessions with role plays and scientific input, and support experts with different profiles in developing their practice.
Operational ownership
Run and scale the daily operations of the expert community: handle case-related questions, support internal teams, and improve the workflows, tools, and policies that let us grow without losing quality. Own documentation and help build AI into how expert operations run.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Partner to recruit experts from diverse backgrounds, conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and lead onboarding so new experts feel confident and connected from day one.
