Senior Consultant

Mount Consulting is growing and is looking for a Senior Consultant to help deliver smart and sustainable solutions for the Finance & Risk challenges faced by international clients. In this role, you will work in a transparent organization where expertise and entrepreneurship go hand in hand, sharing knowledge and skills, guiding junior colleagues, and continuing to develop yourself professionally.

Your role

As a Senior Consultant, you will be involved in multidisciplinary transformation projects for international clients, from design to implementation. Based on the insights and analyses delivered by you and your team, strategic decisions are made, Finance & Risk processes are transformed, and new regulations are implemented.

Responsibilities differ per project, but you will be responsible for tasks such as:

• Analyzing the Finance and Risk landscape, and establishing strategic and practical solutions for business problems
• Designing and implementing target operating models for Finance and Risk processes
• Designing transformation roadmaps and executing complex finance transformation programs
• Analyzing regulatory requirements focusing on data, processes, systems, and organization
• Helping clients navigate the evolving landscape of new regulations, for example ESG
• Participating in discussions with clients, identifying risks and opportunities from a business perspective and facilitating discussions with the client’s key stakeholders

In addition, everyone at Mount has an internal responsibility, so you will be truly involved in Mount's growth. This can include improving internal processes, organizing a teambuilding activity, or attending a recruitment event.

Who are you?

• You have a university degree in a relevant field, for example financial economics
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role and/or the financial services industry, where you have used your entrepreneurial, presentation and communication skills
• You like to help clients and colleagues and get the best out of every collaboration
• You can express yourself fluently in English and have a basic understanding of Dutch
• You have a passion for strategy, transformations, governance and/or architecture
