Job description

As an Energy & Utilities Manager, you will guide companies during the transition phase towards the “New Energy Reality”. You will work on various projects supported by a team of Sia consultants and/or client representatives. You will ensure that projects are delivered beyond expectations and will act as a coach and mentor for consultants. Furthermore, you will have an engaged role in shaping and growing the business through business development and sales support.

Example assignments include market entry studies, improvement of operational processes, investment decision making, regulatory compliance, outsourcing, and vendor selection.

Qualifications

• You have completed your Master’s Degree.
• You have at least 8 years of experience in consulting within the utilities industry and a passion for energy.
• You have a business network at relevant energy companies.
• You have a good view of developments in the energy market and their impact on actors in the value chain.
• You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping clients seize the opportunities they offer.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills are required. If you also speak German fluently, that’s a great plus.
• You are self-starting, entrepreneurial, flexible, and have strong team management skills.
• You can monitor company or market trends and evolutions and trigger actions within Sia to adapt offerings.
