Debt Advisory Intern

Throughout the year, Oaklins offers a 4-month internship to ambitious graduate students with an interest in Debt Advisory.

What you will do and learn

Oaklins' Debt Advisory professionals support public and private companies, management teams, shareholders, financial sponsors and debt providers with the origination and execution of complex financing structures. Having an independent position, we use our knowledge and our network to identify solutions and financial institutions best suited to our clients’ needs.

As a debt intern, you will be actively involved in corporate lending, asset-based lending, restructuring and recapitalizations. You will work alongside junior and senior Oaklins professionals and participate in many aspects of Debt Advisory transactions.

We are looking for graduates who are motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about Debt Advisory. The internship comes with a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to experience a steep learning curve. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to experience the Oaklins culture and feel what it is like to be part of the number one independent global investment bank. You'll receive on-the-job training and benefit from working in a small specialized team.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to start as a full-time Analyst in the Debt Advisory team.

Your qualifications

• Excellent academic background and an almost completed Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Economics or related
• Fluent Dutch and English (C2 level) communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven team player with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in MS Office
• A keen eye for detail
