About the role

As a Transformation Lead at Highberg, you create momentum. You help organizations navigate today’s complex digital and societal transitions and translate strategic ambition into tangible results. At the same time, you actively contribute to the development of Highberg itself. By sharing your expertise and opening up new perspectives, you inspire and empower colleagues. Driving not only transformation for organizations, but also growth and development within Highberg. Thanks to your combination of sharp analytical skills, a hands-on mindset, and natural seniority, you become a trusted partner for leading organizations. Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

Why Highberg?

At Highberg, everything revolves around people. Around colleagues who want to make a difference, take ownership, and work together based on trust and craftsmanship. We believe real change happens when strategy, execution, and humanity come together. That starts with our own team. This is why we create an environment where you can continue to grow, apply your expertise, and expand it further. An environment where you can make lasting impact.

Bringing strategy to life

At Highberg, you are not a remote advisor. You work closely with clients on challenges that truly matter, from strategy through to implementation. This allows you to make an immediate impact and see the results of your work in practice.

Collaborative, human, and professional

We work closely together, share knowledge, and strengthen one another to achieve the best possible outcomes. Our culture is open and built on trust, with room for both ambition and humanity. We listen, celebrate successes, and hold each other accountable, always with attention to people as well as to quality.

European outlook, locally rooted

With teams in the Netherlands and the DACH region, you work in an organization with a broad, European perspective. At the same time, the culture remains personal and close-knit. This gives you the opportunity to collaborate internationally at a high level, within a committed and engaged team.

Culture as a catalyst

Our culture is a key reason why colleagues enjoy working at Highberg. We place trust in our people, value initiative, and believe it is important that everyone can continue to develop. This enables you to get the best out of yourself, while together contributing to sustainable growth.

Your role as Transformation Lead

Within this role, operating at a strategic level is central. Complex organizational challenges are approached through an integrated view of business and IT. By guiding organizations through their transformation journey while building strong, lasting relationships, sustainable impact is created for both the client and the broader organization.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • Analyze complex organizational challenges by combining consulting skills with strategic insight and a strong understanding of business and IT dynamics.
  • Support organizations in reinventing themselves and transforming into responsive digital leaders.
  • Lead organizational transformation programs, including vision and strategy definition, organizational design, process improvement, implementation, and leadership engagement.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with executives and other key stakeholders within client organizations, acting as a strategic sparring partner.
  • Support and mentor other consultants in their professional expertise and personal development.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for Highberg by proactively recognizing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering compelling pitches.
  • Operate at the intersection of business and IT, for example by advising clients on dependencies within their IT landscape.

Who are you?

  • You have a strong network of potential clients and decision-makers and know how to build relationships in a natural way.
  • You are ambitious, persuasive, and analytically strong, you are someone who quickly recognizes patterns and sets out strategic directions.
  • You have a strong affinity with technology and a keen interest in organizational change and digital transformation.
  • You are eager to learn and forward-looking: you actively follow developments in cloud, AI platforms, SaaS, FinOps, and cybersecurity, and use this knowledge to help clients move forward.
  • You are a conceptual thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • You adapt easily to new environments and enjoy working with people at all levels of an organization.
  • You see opportunities where others do not, thanks to your commercial mindset.
  • You take initiative and do not give up easily when things get challenging.
  • You are AI-literate and able to apply AI in a conscious, critical, and responsible way to enhance your work.

What are we asking?

  • You have a completed master’s degree (WO-level).
  • You have 8 to 15 years of relevant (internal) consulting experience, for example as a (senior) manager at a consulting firm or as an experienced business process manager in a corporate environment.
  • You have proven experience in managing organizational change and are familiar with software development processes.
  • You have experience with large-scale IT transformations.
  • You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written. Proficiency in German is a strong plus.

What are we offering?

Attractive and comprehensive employment conditions:

  • a salary of €5.500 to €7.000, with variable compensation aligned with the responsibility and impact of your role, complemented by paid leave, mobility options, and a pension scheme.

The best of two worlds:

  • the intellectual sharpness and quality of a high end consultancy firm, combined with the agility and engagement of an entrepreneurial organisation.

Responsibility, autonomy, and entrepreneurship:

  • from the very start, you take ownership in projects and client work, with plenty of room to take initiative, supported by experienced colleagues.

Collaborating in an accessible environment:

  • you work in a setting where decision making is close to the action and ideas quickly gain traction.

Flexible working with strong connection:

  • hybrid working is possible, combined with regular moments where we come together for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and team activities such as inspiring sessions and the Highberg Festival.
