Data Quality Analyst -@Amsterdam F/M/X

We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst at the BNP Paribas SA Amsterdam Branch.

BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is part of the Group and offers specialized solutions to corporate and institutional clients in capital markets, securities services, financing, treasury and advisory.

The position you’re applying for / Your new role

The Data Quality Analyst is situated within CIB Netherlands in Amsterdam and reports directly to the Head of Data and Valuation Management.

Your responsibilities

• The Data Quality Analyst (DQA) is responsible for the data architecture in the main information system and the monitoring of data quality within it.
• The analyst will measure data quality and act as a facilitator between stakeholders and market players on data agreements, including vendor management.
• DQA will take part in projects, both client-driven and internal, with a focus on improving processes and procedures.
• DQA is responsible for Data Governance and the corresponding Data Dictionary.
• Client-facing activities include onboarding clients and handling queries from existing clients.

Who are you

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in data structuring, data models and governance structures.
• A Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics and/or Business Administration.
• Knowledge of investment strategies, reporting systems, investment procedures and performance / risk analysis and methodologies is an asset.
• Strong technical skills, mainly Excel; Visual Basic and SQL are an advantage.
• Preferably experience in SimCorp Dimension and Bloomberg.
• Proven knowledge of equity and fixed income products as well as derivatives.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written; French will be considered an advantage.
• Organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to develop efficient working relationships with various stakeholders abroad and locally.
• Problem-solving skills.

Job related competencies

• Knowledge of Dutch securities market practices and regulations.
• Understanding of the business needs of major international and domestic investment institutions and their objectives in using BNP Paribas Securities Services’ products.
