Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at JBT Marel in Eindhoven, Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial reporting of our legal entities and play an important part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial information. You will work closely with colleagues in Financial Control, Business Control, and Shared Services, and you will have a broad interface across the organization. The role combines hands-on accounting work with opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

Your responsibilities

As Senior Accountant, your key tasks will include:

• Ensuring a timely and accurate month-end close in accordance with US GAAP and JBT Marel accounting guidelines
• Preparing local financial statements and handling tax-related reporting
• Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and intercompany entries
• Reconciling general ledger accounts and performing account analyses
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulations
• Contributing to improvements in financial processes and reporting quality
• Management of audits (Group audits, statutory audits, etc.)
