We also work towards personalized medicine. Whereas science is starting to take individual differences into account, we rarely see diversification based on biological sex. Certain diseases, including Alzheimer's, are more frequently diagnosed in women while clinical studies performed on therapies for these diseases are more often than not performed on white men, leading to effectivity hurdles in translation. Biological reasoning for why these differences occur could severely benefit therapies to be developed, somwhere ToxGenSolutions aims to be frontrunner in.
