About the role

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll support functional budget owners across Human Resources, Facilities, and Wholesale Commercial in achieving their financial and operational targets. As an SG&A Business Controller, you'll provide strategic financial insights and analysis, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure transparent expense management across the EMEA region.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Support the monthly closing process by analysing actual results for Human Resources, Facilities, and Wholesale Commercial expenses, preparing accruals and ensuring accuracy of the data for the respective scope.
• Develop comprehensive monthly business review reports with in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for presentation to key stakeholders.
• Provide detailed, robust and on-time Financial Plan/Forecast by collaborating with business and finance stakeholders, clarifying and coordinating the deliverables, supporting the execution, challenging the outcome and presenting the final results in a consistent manner.
• Challenge Business Partners with qualitative input to drive cost-saving initiatives across the organisation.
• Ensure full transparency and visibility of EMEA Human Resources, Facilities, and Wholesale Commercial expenses through systematic monitoring and reporting of relevant key performance indicators.
• Take ownership of continuous improvement of processes and deliverables in the respective scope.
• Coach stakeholders on finance concepts and establish standardised working methods to strengthen relationships and ensure effective communication across departments.

You have the following skills:

• Up to 4 years of experience in accounting or controlling roles within an international company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP, SAP Analytics Cloud Reporting, and Business Objects.
• Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Thinkcell for financial reporting and presentations.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with stakeholder management capabilities.
