Join Seaway7 in Eemshaven as a key member of our Logistics & Materials Management team, where you'll coordinate global transport activities, manage import/export processes, and optimize logistics in partnership with our Logistics Service Providers. In this dynamic role, you’ll also oversee country‑specific operations such as port calls and crew changes, while collaborating across project, offshore, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and operational excellence.
What will you be doing?
- Plan, arrange, and coordinate global transport and shipping of cargo and equipment in line with the L&MM RACI.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, addressing any issues promptly.
- Prepare and review import/export documentation according to destination-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to facilitate smooth transportation, customs clearance, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage country-specific logistics activities, including port calls, crew changes, and domestic transport.
- Identify logistics risks and propose effective mitigation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and safety requirements in all logistics activities.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and external LSPs.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Logistics Lead or L&MM function.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering OR at least 5 years of working experience in logistics.
- Knowledge of local and international regulations governing the transport of goods, including customs procedures, import/export regulations, transport documents, dangerous goods, and safety standards.
- Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, adapt approaches as needed, and shift priorities when business or client requirements change.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English and Dutch.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and problem-solving mindset with a practical approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exposure to SAP/Ariba would be benefical.
- Willingness to travel and work abroad as required.
