Wholesale Business Manager

What you will be doing
We have a strategic challenge for you.
As our Wholesale Business Manager, you are responsible for further developing and executing our international wholesale strategy. You will lead our International Sales team and drive both new business and the development of existing strategic accounts.
You will focus on expanding market presence, further premiumising our distribution landscape and building long-term partnerships with our “must win” accounts. You ensure that our commercial ambitions go hand in hand with brand positioning and qualitative distribution.
You divide your time between steering the Country Lead Brand Ambassadors, supporting them in their markets, and directly managing key relationships yourself. You act as a strong internal and external ambassador of the Fatboy brand.
Your responsibilities at a glance
Sales strategy: You formulate and execute the long-term commercial strategy for wholesale markets, aligned with overall company targets and brand objectives.
Market development: You identify new business opportunities, analyse market dynamics and competitors, and translate insights into concrete growth plans.
Premium distribution: You further strengthen and premiumise our international distribution landscape, safeguarding brand positioning and qualitative sell-out.
Key account management: You build and maintain strong relationships with strategic wholesale partners across different countries, ensuring sustainable growth and customer loyalty.
Team leadership: You lead and develop the international sales team, set clear priorities, coach on performance and ensure focus on commercial impact.
Cross-functional collaboration: You work closely with Marketing, Finance, Product Development, Operations and HR to align sales plans with overall business objectives.
Brand representation: You represent Fatboy proactively, energetically and with a positive mindset in all markets, ensuring consistent brand experience.

You are a commercially sharp, strategic thinker with strong leadership skills. Someone who combines entrepreneurial drive with the ability to build long-term partnerships and inspire teams.
You have a bachelor’s degree in a commercial or marketing-related field.
You have proven experience in international sales, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and cultural differences.
You have at least 3 years of direct team management experience in a similar role within the lifestyle, design or home products sector.
You have strong leadership skills and know how to motivate teams to achieve ambitious targets.
You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and are comfortable working with diverse stakeholders.
You are analytically strong and use data and insights to support strategic decisions.
Experience in an omnichannel environment (retail, online, contract and loyalty channels) is a plus.
You are fluent in Dutch and professional in English.
You are willing to travel internationally to visit teams and key accounts.
A competitive salary that reflects the scope and seniority of the role. The salary indication is €6,500 – €7,500 gross per month (excluding holiday allowance and bonus), depending on experience.

This role is based in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible. To apply for this role, you must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
