Waarom Brand New Day?

Brand New Day is transforming its data and regulatory reporting capabilities to align with our strategic pillars: growth, efficiency and professionalization. We are building a BCBS239-compliant data warehouse, implementing a regulatory reporting tool and a risk management tool. Both are designed to replace manual processes, ensure control and create a scalable, automated and audit-ready framework for Finance, Risk and ALM.

We need a Medior Business Analyst to support this transformation by ensuring regulatory and business requirements are clearly defined and effectively implemented. Your expertise will help maintain transparency, quality and alignment across our data, reporting and risk management initiatives.

Your key activities and responsibilities in bullets:

  • Assist in drafting detailed requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and alignment with business and regulatory needs
  • Maintain requirement registers, change logs and documentation repositories to keep processes transparent and up to date
  • Prepare test cases and test data, and execute UAT and regression tests to validate solutions and ensure quality
  • Support defect analysis and documentation to resolve issues efficiently, and improve processes
  • Assist in mapping operational business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation

What you’ll receive from us

  • 25 vacation days + 1 extra day off for celebration!
  • The option to work from home two days per week and a week remote (two weeks for expats).
  • Training budget of €1,000 per year to stay up to date in your field.
  • €25 per month benefit budget for 1,001 fun or useful things (via Alleo).
  • Every week a fully catered lunch at the company’s expense. On other days, you’ll need to arrange your own, but no worries. We’re right next to the Amsterdamse Poort, so you’ll have plenty of choices.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who works in a precise and structured way and brings strong analytical skills to the table. You communicate proactively and clearly, pick up new concepts and tools quickly, and maintain a strong focus on quality and detail. You combine speed of learning with accuracy, ensuring that your work is both efficient and delivered to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their expertise in regulatory reporting, data governance and process automation, while contributing to a high-impact transformation. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic environment, working alongside senior analysts and cross-functional teams. If you are detail-oriented, analytical and eager to contribute to a high-impact project, this is the role for you.
