Job Description

Position Overview
This role will provide analytical and project support across strategic planning, portfolio management, and M&A activities. As an analyst you’ll be part of the Western-European divisional Strategy & Development (S&D) team and work closely with country teams, divisional leadership, and the global S&D function to deliver insights, prepare business cases, and support execution of key initiatives.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Strategy & Portfolio Analysis

  • Support the annual strategic planning cycle for the Western-European division
  • Support on projects which seek to unlock strategic growth opportunities across Western-Europe
  • Develop presentations and dashboards for senior leadership
  • Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and internal KPIs to make recommendations

M&A and Disposals

  • Build robust business cases for strategic projects and investments
  • Prepare financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions
  • Support deal execution through financial analysis, target valuation and due diligence coordination
  • Prepare and develop comprehensive investment memoranda to support transaction decision-making

Key Characteristics

  • Prior experience in corporate finance, M&A, consulting, or a similar analytical role
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • An MBA or professional qualification (ACA, CFA, or equivalent), whether obtained or in the process of completion, will be considered as a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to synthesise complex data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Key Functional Competencies

  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, complex formulas)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for clear and impactful presentations
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • High level of English proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Any other European languages are a plus

Other (Key) Dimensions
The role may require international travel, mainly in Europe.
