To strengthen this foundation, we’re looking for a Data Governance Lead who’s passionate about responsible data use and excited to help shape how data is collected, protected, and activated across our European markets.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their data governance career who wants to grow fast, work cross‑functionally, and make a visible impact.

Job Details

Key responsibilities

1. Data Compliance & Privacy (30%)

  • Ensure our markets collect and use consumer and employee data in a compliant, transparent, and value‑driven way.
  • Partner with Global Data Governance, Legal, and local Privacy teams to embed global standards into marketing and HR processes.
  • Maintain and evolve privacy and governance controls to prevent misuse and strengthen trust.
  • Support regulatory assessments and prepare compliance reports.
  • Build end‑to‑end data maps to visualise how data flows across the organisation.

2. Data Management & Quality (30%)

  • Help markets improve data quality, structure, and usability—especially for Social First marketing initiatives.
  • Develop best‑practice frameworks for capturing clean, actionable media data.
  • Support onboarding and oversight of third‑party data partners.
  • Provide guidance on data governance challenges and lead quality‑improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data reliability and value.

3. Data & AI Governance, Literacy & Maturity (40%)

  • Support the annual data governance maturity programme across key EU markets.
  • Localise global data and AI governance standards to meet European regulatory and marketing needs.
  • Deliver training sessions on data literacy, responsible AI, and compliant data activation.
  • Build strong relationships with data owners, analysts, and AI practitioners.
