As a Product Owner Team Customer Agent (TCA) at Alliander, you are the driving force behind solutions that enable seamless customer interaction through the HEDERA platform. You translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable features and ensure essential systems evolve to deliver stable, sustainable value.

The energy transition needs you as Product Owner TCA

As Product Owner TCA within System Operations, you are the strategic force behind the development of crucial systems that enable customer solutions via the HEDERA software platform. HEDERA is a platform that enables more efficient use of grid capacity by allocating and enforcing Firm and Non-Firm capacity limits for market participants, ensuring the grid stays safe while unlocking otherwise unused capacity.

You turn stakeholder needs into clear, actionable solutions and ensure that essential functionalities are continuously improved. We are creating the energy grid of the future, for everyone, with everyone. And as Product Owner Team Customer Agent, you can play your part in this. Your role will involve:

  • Defining and communicating the product vision, goals, and roadmap for core products:

HEDERA:

Hub for Energy Distribution and Excess Resource Allocation.

CAV (Contingency Agreement Verifier):

Ensures compliance with contracts and control actions. Transitioning to Active/Passive Control Verifiers (ACV/PCV) through 2026.

ODS (Operational Data Store):

Channels operational data to Snowflake for KPI reporting and performance analysis.

  • Translating stakeholder input into concrete backlog items, prioritizing based on value, and managing the product backlog and roadmaps.
  • Leading the strategic domain of Grid Aware Charging, aligning requirements and making key decisions.
  • Owning complex stakeholder and customer relationships, including expectation management, escalations, and cross-domain decision-making with market parties and internal teams.
  • Coordinating with other teams across Alliander to align overarching epics, participate in ART synchronization, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies to guide your team in delivering stable, sustainable value.

You complete our network

You will be working at our business unit System Operations. Here you will work on energy systems that make the Dutch energy grid more flexible, reliable and future-proof.

Following the latest trends and developments is only possible with the right motivation. We offer an inspiring working environment that will energise you in your day-to-day work. The System Operations department is made up of smart and committed professionals. In this team, you will work with customers, developers, data scientists, architects and Scrum Masters on digital platforms that allow customers to interact with the electricity grid through standardised interfaces.

You energise our network

Working on an organisation that is future proof. With your talent and strengths, you can do that at our company. Will you contribute with your client-oriented approach? We are looking in particular for a candidate with:

  • HBO+/WO level and 3–5 years of experience as Product Owner or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of or affinity with energy systems and control information platforms
  • Experience working in an Agile Release Train (ART) and SAFe framework
  • Proven experience in defining product vision and roadmaps
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes in politically and operationally sensitive environments
  • Experience handling high-impact customer interactions where decisions directly affect customers and market parties
  • Customer focus is second nature to you. You understand that everything we do ultimately impacts our customers, and you act accordingly.

Attractive salary and benefits package

  • a gross monthly salary of €4,580 to €6,543 (scale 9)
  • an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% of your gross annual salary
  • 24.5 days’ holiday per year, expandable via your IKB
  • an end-of-year bonus of 6%
  • a sustainable employability (SE) budget of €700 per year
  • an NS Business Card or kilometre allowance
