Introduction

The Ethics & Business Integrity team is part of ASML’s Legal and Compliance department. The team strengthens ASML’s ethics culture by raising awareness, offering expert guidance, and supporting leaders in applying our values. The Ethics Office manages key programs such as the Code of Conduct, Speak Up policy, and Human Rights policy. This internship gives you the chance to contribute to these programs while learning how ethics supports a fast-growing global organization. If you want to explore the intersection of ethics, compliance, and business, this is your opportunity.

Your assignment

You will work closely with the Ethics Officers on a variety of day-to-day activities. You will gain hands-on experience in case management, training coordination, policy support, and ethics communications. You will help the team strengthen awareness of ASML’s ethical standards across our global workforce.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support case triage under the guidance of an Ethics Officer.
  • Maintain case files and extract data for reporting.
  • Track training completion, follow up with employees, and help develop new training materials.
  • Assist in preparing ethics communications and awareness initiatives.
  • Help organize ethics awareness events and global virtual sessions.
  • Support policy-related projects, including reviews and awareness campaigns.
  • Update and maintain ethics webpages and coordinate improvement projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for internal stakeholders.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, ethics, public policy, business administration, or a related field.
  • Are analytical and able to handle sensitive information with care.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in English.
  • Are collaborative and enjoy working with different stakeholders.
  • Are proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
