In this role as an Electric & Electronics EMC Lead Engineer, you are a skilled Electrical and/or Electronic Engineer responsible for delivering solutions to engineering challenges in medical system and subsystems of Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) machines. Your will contribute to improve 2.5 billion lives per year 2030 around the world!

Your role:

  • Own and evolve the EMC requirements framework by translating higher-level system requirements and standards into well-rationalized subsystem and component targets, while advising electronics architecture adaptations based on EMC insights.
  • Lead troubleshooting and risk assessments, systematically analyzing field issues and faulty components, driving mitigation strategies, and ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance across the product lifecycle through robust verification and validation activities.
  • Define and execute simulation, pre-compliance, and test strategies, correlating lab results with real-world use cases to identify risks, margins, and lifecycle improvement opportunities.
  • Steer and mentor a small team (2–3) of EMC engineers, setting scope, priorities, and responsibilities while ensuring technical quality and timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Compliance, Mechatronics, and external vendors, acting as a key technical interface to ensure designs meet regulatory and project requirements.
  • Drive a strong quality and documentation mindset, performing risk and reliability analyses and delivering requirements, verification plans, test records, and reports in line with Philips processes.

You're the right fit if:

  • You possess Bachelor or Master degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience within electronics / electrical engineering, including experience in product design, development, and maintenance of released products.
  • You have EMC domain knowledge with respective techniques of preventing or containing emissions.
  • You are familiar with DfSS Six Sigma approach and work experience in Agile Release Trains following SAFe.
  • You have collaborated with external vendors and suppliers.
  • You are good communicator verbal and written in English.
