Job description

Carv works with enterprise organizations to redesign how hiring operates at scale using AI. Our customers are not adopting isolated tools. Rather, they are changing workflows, systems, and decision-making across recruiting operations.

As AI Deployment Manager, you will work directly with enterprise customers to design and validate AI-driven solutions in real operating environments and ensure those solutions are successfully deployed. You will operate at the intersection of customer engagement, solution architecture, and internal execution, translating customer reality into clear, actionable requirements to partner with Product and Engineering for execution.

This role is customer-facing, outcome-driven, and requires comfort operating in ambiguity. You will not write production code. You will own the end-to-end deployment process.

What you will do

Customer Engagement & Value Validation

  • Partner with Sales during defined stages of the enterprise sales cycle to validate value in real customer workflows.
  • Lead deep discovery with customer stakeholders to understand current processes, systems, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Guide customers through complex architectural and operational tradeoffs.

Solution Design

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures that define how Carv integrates into the customer’s operating model.
  • Clearly articulate what value will be demonstrated during deployment and what is required to scale beyond initial validation.

Make scope and tradeoffs explicit, including:

  • Existing vs. planned product capabilities
  • Configuration vs. extension
  • Non-committable or out-of-scope requirements

Execution & Delivery Ownership

  • Own deployment from kickoff through validated outcomes.
  • Define success metrics jointly with customers and track progress against them.
  • Identify technical, operational, and organizational risks early and communicate them clearly.
  • Ensure continuity between what is validated pre-close and what is delivered post-close.

Internal Enablement & Platform Feedback

Produce clear, structured artifacts for Product and Engineering, including:

  • Problem definitions and user journeys
  • Functional and non-functional requirements
  • Integration, data flow, and system constraints
  • Acceptance criteria and rollout considerations
  • Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and repeatable deployment patterns.
  • Feed structured customer insights back into Product to inform roadmap and platform evolution.

Who You Are

  • You are a senior, customer-facing operator who enjoys working at the intersection of enterprise customers, platform architecture, and internal execution.

You likely have experience as a:

  • Forward Deployed Engineer
  • Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect
  • Technical Product Manager or Platform Product Lead
  • Field Engineering or Strategic Implementation lead
  • Systems, Platform, or Integration specialist in enterprise SaaS

You are comfortable:

  • Leading technical and operational discovery with enterprise customers
  • Designing end-to-end system architectures across multiple tools and platforms
  • Reasoning about APIs, integrations, data models, and system constraints without writing production code
  • Translating ambiguous customer needs into clear, structured requirements for engineering teams
  • Owning solution quality and deployment outcomes end-to-end
  • Making and communicating tradeoffs clearly, including saying “not yet” or “not supported”

You thrive in environments where:

  • The product is evolving and not everything is fully defined
  • You are expected to create structure, not just follow it
  • Customer impact and internal leverage matter more than surface-level polish
  • Success is measured by real operational outcomes, not slide decks

What’s in it for you?

We offer the excitement of building out Carv within the EU & USA. With a management team boasting a combined experience of 20+ years in the recruitment tech/SaaS space, you’re not starting from the ground up but are stepping onto a launching pad.

  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Competitive salary
  • Company stock options
  • MacBook Pro
  • Personal development budget
  • Flexibility and hybrid work set-up

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR tech, or adjacent operational domains.
  • 3+ years of experience in delivery, implementation, solutions architecture, or forward-deployed roles.
  • Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers on complex, multi-system solutions.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguity into structured thinking and executable requirements.
  • Technical fluency across system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
  • Comfort owning outcomes across customer, product, and engineering boundaries.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred

  • Experience working with AI-driven products, data platforms, or workflow automation systems.
  • Background in enterprise SaaS, platform products, or systems-of-record.
