Junior Operational Buyer - Material Planner (Dutch required)

Your role:

• Ensure materials are available on time to meet customer needs, supporting the delivery of products.
• Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in operational planning, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
• Identify supply risks, propose creative solutions, and help keep operations running smoothly.
• Analyze supplier data, manage purchase orders, and contribute to continuous improvement projects that make a real difference.
• Participate in supplier performance reviews and lead initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency.
• Perform inventory analysis and help define policies that balance availability, cost, and efficiency.

You're the right fit if:

• A Master’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or any other discipline with a strong focus on numbers and data handling
• Max 2 years of experience in supply planning, material planning, or a related analytical field
• Fluent in both English and Dutch, as the role involves regular interaction with shopfloor teams and overseas stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with proven proficiency in advanced Excel and data-modeling tools (mandatory)
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
• A high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and consistently deliver work within required timelines
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and cope well with stressful situation
