What are you going to do?

In this role, you will work as a Technical Linux Engineer and become an important part of our Media Team. This team consists of more than 15 professionals working on streaming and digital delivery platforms for Mobile, Web, and Smart TV. Our mission is to guarantee reliable services and an excellent client experience across multiple platforms.

This role is ideal for an experienced Linux engineer eager to grow into the world of media and streaming technologies. You will start with a strong infrastructure foundation and gradually develop expertise in video delivery, codecs, DRM, and streaming workflows. You will help maintain the Linux-based systems that power our services, while receiving the opportunity and support to learn modern media technology hands-on through collaboration, training, and real-world projects.

Our streaming platforms run continuously, which means reliability is key. You will be part of a shared on-call rotation to respond to incidents and support our services outside office hours when needed.

Your day-to-day activities include:

  • Managing and maintaining Linux servers across multiple data centers and cloud environments
  • Supporting the infrastructure that enables live and video-on-demand (VOD) services
  • Working closely with senior streaming specialists to learn media workflows and best practices
  • Troubleshooting technical issues across servers, networking, and delivery pipelines
  • Implementing and optimizing software deployments using modern tooling such as Docker
  • Collaborating with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Exploring new streaming technologies, codecs, and media security solutions as part of your development
  • Participating in a shared on-call rotation to ensure service continuity outside office hours

Who are you?

You are an experienced Linux engineer with a proactive mindset and strong technical curiosity. You enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges and want to expand your skillset into a specialized and fast-moving domain: video streaming and digital media delivery. You do not need to be a streaming expert yet. What matters most is your willingness to learn, experiment, and grow into the media space while contributing your Linux expertise from day one.

You communicate clearly and enjoy working with colleagues, clients, and partners across different teams. You understand that delivering reliable streaming services requires availability beyond standard office hours, and you are comfortable being part of an on-call rotation together with the team.

What do you bring with you?

  • Strong Linux systems experience and confidence working in production environments
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure and services
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals such as HTTP, TCP/IP, and related protocols
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Interest in media and streaming technologies including HLS, MPEG-DASH, DRM, codecs, and delivery workflows
  • A DevOps mindset with an interest in automation, scripting, and operational efficiency
  • Experience with cloud platforms and/or on-premise infrastructure
  • CDN knowledge is a bonus, and Akamai experience is a plus but not required
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation to respond to incidents outside office hours
