The NPS (News Personalisation Squad) mission is to improve the relevance of our digital products for our customers by providing them with personalised experiences. Through our various channels (websites, apps, newsletters and push notifications) we aim to keep the user up to date with both the important news and the news they in particular are interested in. We are a team of Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists that develop & maintain a collection of APIs that power all of our News brands.
Our solution currently serves millions of recommendations per day in news products like hln.be, nu.nl and volkskrant.nl.
Our team is passionate about helping the users with our personalised recommendations and considers ethics as a primary concern. Working in the field of News Recommendation, we are very conscious of the impact we have on users’ news diet and the content they are exposed to.
