Are you looking for a kick-start to your career in IT Audit? Join us as an Associate in The Assurance Academy. Do you want to combine your RE qualification with challenging, impactful client assignments? With us, you will be involved in IT audits from day one and grow quickly within a close team where you learn every day.

The Assurance Academy in a nutshell

You will start in a two-year program where you work on IT audits for a wide range of clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself further, for example by pursuing the RE qualification. You will build a strong foundation, work with modern tools, and receive coaching that helps you bring out the best in yourself every time.

Your role

You will be working in the Digital Trust business unit. It’s from this business unit that we are driving creation of the audit of the future, moving towards a 'human-led and tech powered' audit. We work together in teams with various competences on assignments, deploying digital solutions.

If you’re keen to form part of such a team and want:

  • to work closely with clients and colleagues;
  • to understand how large, complex, and also international clients work in different sectors;
  • to acquire know-how about IT and business processes within organisations;
  • to conduct audits of IT systems, processes, and relevant topics such as cloud, cybersecurity, and ERP;
  • to perform data analysis and apply smart technologies;
  • to automate standardised control processes;
  • to give clients' management and stakeholders assurance about their processes, systems, and data.

Then Digital Trust is the place for you.

Who you are

  • You enjoy working in a team and on a project basis on various client assignments, and you have a proactive, positive attitude.
  • You're eager to learn and make progress through training/education, you take responsibility for your own opportunities and development and you're curious about technological developments and trends.
  • You’ve graduated from a university degree in Economics or Business Economics, Business Administration or Technical Business Administration, Information Management, Computer Science, Accountancy, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a similar subject.
  • You're fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Available from September 2026.
