You will lead a dynamic team, drive performance, and ensure every outlet runs smoothly — from restaurant, kitchen, stewarding and bar to room service and events.

What you will be doing

  • Own the day-to-day operations of all Food & Drinks outlets (restaurant, bar, room service, kitchen, stewarding and banqueting)
  • Deliver consistently excellent guest experiences
  • Lead, recruit, train, and inspire the Food & Drinks team
  • Ensure brand standards, health & safety, and compliance are always met
  • Manage budgets, payroll, and food & drink costs
  • Set targets, schedules, procedures, and departmental goals
  • Lead Atelier JAQ, Rotterdam’s first immersive Art & Dining Experience
  • Create and develop menus with the team
  • Oversee stock control and monthly stock takes
  • Drive sales through team motivation and smart incentives
  • Handle guest feedback with a solutions-first mindset
  • Run team meetings and conduct performance reviews
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and push continuous improvement
  • Act sustainably and support other departments when needed

What we are looking for

  • Proven management experience across Food & Drinks outlets
  • Strong financial and budget management skills
  • Ability to hit targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident leader who develops people and builds strong teams
  • Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible, proactive, and hands-on
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Valid residence and work permit in the Netherlands
  • Professional presentation and grooming standards

Bonus points if you have

  • A degree in hospitality or a related field
  • Experience in an international hotel environment

What we offer

  • 25 paid holiday days per full year (on the basis of 38 hours per week)
  • Travel allowance according to the Hilton Rotterdam scheme, if you live further than 5km away from the hotel
  • Pension build-up through Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering
  • Access to personal growth through our Learning & Development department, the Hilton University, LinkedIn Learning, Harvard ManageMentor & eCornell
  • An unforgettable Guest Experience: a free overnight stay in our hotel, including dinner and breakfast, for you and your plus one
  • Huge discounts through Hilton GO! Team Member room rate, plus Friends & Family room rate at all Hilton Hotels worldwide
  • 50% off your F&D bill, at least at Managed Hilton Hotels in the Netherlands
  • 24/7 access to our fitness facilities (also on your days off!)

Our first class meeting facilities, state-of-the-art technology and dedicated Hilton Meetings Team ensure that every aspect of your meeting will be a true success.
